The Belong Project Comes to Civitavecchia with “Il Ponte” and ASD CSL Soccer
May 21, 2026
Thanks to the official collaboration with the “Il Ponte” Solidarity Center in Civitavecchia, ASD CSL SOCCER 21 8.0 is actively participating in ‘Belong’, the European project led by the FIGC (Italian Football Federation).
CSL Soccer, represented by President Marco La Camera, has joined forces with “Il Ponte” and the FIGC to play an active role in promoting the social integration of refugee adolescents. The club is participating with 8 of its own registered players from various foreign nationalities.
The project features free training sessions every Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Registered refugee players from any club, as well as non-registered youths, can join free of charge simply by providing a medical certificate. The sessions are led by federal coaches Massimo Neroni and Marco Brusselles. Team managers and coaches are also welcome to attend and support these vital moments of social inclusion.
On-field activities kicked off on May 2nd and this first phase will conclude on May 30th. Local clubs or individual athletes wishing to join the initiative can contact “Il Ponte” coordinators Veronica Mantozzi and Andrea Pascucci to get involved. The project is set to continue with further activities in the coming months.
