Steering Committee Meeting and Launch of Sports Activities in Civitavecchia and Florence

On April 27th, the Steering Committee of the European project BELONG held its plenary call. During the meeting, the reporting and financial documentation required for the final balance of activities was presented.

In fact, sports activities organized by the participating NGOs have officially kicked off. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) serves as the lead partner of this European Project, which involves the Fondazione Solidarietà Caritas in Florence, CEIS in Modena, and the Centro di Solidarietà Il Ponte in Civitavecchia.

  • At the “Gino Bozzi” municipal stadium in Florence, the first working group —comprising 35 adolescents aged 16-18 —took to the pitch on April 18th and 25th, and will return to action on Saturday, May 23rd and 30th.
  • Meanwhile, at the DLF Club in Civitavecchia, 15 participants signed up for the technical program, which successfully launched on May 16th.
  • In Modena (16 participants, aged 16-23) and Bologna (29 participants, aged 14-18), the sports activities will be hosted at the fields of the “Comunità La Barca” and the “Comunità Villaggio del Fanciullo” respectively.
