On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Biasola Sports Center in Reggio Emilia will host “Football Without Borders” (Calcio senza frontiere), a sensitization event promoted as part of the European project BELONG, in collaboration with Reggiana Calcio and Unimore. This initiative is part of the fifth edition of the Equality Week organized by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia—a week entirely dedicated to celebrating diversity and promoting social inclusion, running from Friday, September 26, starting with the European Researchers’ Night 2025, until Friday, October 3.
During the event, which stems from the synergy between BELONG project partners, Unimore, and Reggiana Calcio, players from the Integration League, Regia for Special, Women’s, and Youth sectors will take to the pitch side-by-side to promote the values of social inclusion. The matches will be followed by moments of discussion and dialogue with the community and University students, who are invited to reflect and debate on the themes of social integration.
