On February 24th, the Steering Committee of the European project BELONG held its scheduled meeting. During the call, the three participating NGOs (Fondazione Solidarietà Caritas in Florence, CEIS in Modena, and Centro di Solidarietà Il Ponte in Civitavecchia) updated the partners on the status of the refugees taking part in the project.

Specifically, the medical examinations required for competitive sports activities have been completed. Furthermore, the NGOs reported on the non-sporting activities that form an integral part of the project. The sports fields where activities will commence have also been identified, in collaboration with the coordinator and technicians from the Youth and School Sector (Settore Giovanile e Scolastico). All activities will follow a schedule to be finalized and coordinated in the coming weeks.
